A free little something for teachers in home stretch

The End of the Year Teacher Toolkit for Finishing This Year Strong
(and making August so much easier)

Nine podcast episodes to walk you through the last stretch of May, plus a simple digital planner to help you wrap up without the overwhelm.

No homework, we promise.

Just two teacher friends who've been there, a playlist, and a planner that actually fits in your real life.

Just hit play and let two teacher friends who've been there talk you through it.

Delivered to your inbox. Yours to keep.

If you're just trying to make it to the last day, you're in the right place.

You know that feeling when one foot is still in your classroom and the other is halfway into summer?

When your kids are a little extra this week, and your brain has 47 tabs open ...

"laminate the anchor charts,"
"inventory the textbooks,"
"do NOT try that seating arrangement again next year," and zero idea what to do with any of them?

You're not alone, friend. We've been there.

Every single May for 20+ years.

The good news: you don't need another planner or to do list.

You just need someone in your corner who gets it. That's what this toolkit is for.

Send me the toolkit.

Two free resources. Zero homework.

Your toolkit has two pieces that work together — one to listen to, one to write in.
Pick them up in whatever order feels right for your week.

🎧 The End-of-Year Podcast Playlist

  • 🍏 Chapter 1: Finish This Year Well — including The May/June Crossover Plan, a three-step framework for mentally clocking out without dropping the ball. Plus episodes on real closure, thriving in Term 4, and the one little strategy that makes the last few weeks feel fun instead of fatal.
  • 🍏 Chapter 2: Set Yourself Up for Success — including 5 Reasons May Is the Smartest Time to Plan Next Year, the three-bin system that future-you will cry happy tears over, and a tiny, sweet thing you can set up now to help next year's kids feel connected to you before day one.

📋 The End-of-Year Roadmap

A simple, free digital planner (in Google Sheets, so it goes wherever you go) that turns everything swirling around in your head into one organized spot. Inside you'll find:

  • Quick reflection prompts to debrief the school year in 5 minutes, not 5 hours
  • Simple lists (ta-da, to-do, and fix-it) that help you wrap up with intention instead of panic
  • A little plan that back-to-school-you will absolutely thank you for in August

The playlist gets you inspired. The Roadmap helps you actually do the thing.

Together, they make the end of the year feel so much lighter.

About Us ...

Hi! We're Heidi & Emily, the voices behind the Teacher Approved Podcast and Second Story Window.

We started the
Teacher Approved Podcast because when we were in the classroom, we wished for a couple of teacher friends to talk us through the hard parts. The kind of friends who'd really been there. Who got the small stuff. Who wouldn't hand us one more shiny system to add to the pile.

So now we're those friends. Everything in this playlist comes straight from our classrooms: the routines that worked, the ones that flopped, and the small shifts that made everything a little easier.

No fluff. No pressure. Just teacher-to-teacher support for the part of the year no one warns you about.

Give yourself a soft landing into summer.

Drop your email below, and we'll send the whole toolkit right over.

Listen on your commute, fill in the Roadmap during prep, and take the pressure off those last few weeks.
